We use a slightly modified version of the 2008 PSP rules. Due to major changes that were made in the 2009 rules that were different from our preferred format, we continue to use the 2008 rules. The variations from the 2008 PSP rules and 5-man Addendum are as follows (continue to check for changes): - There will be no crowd participation. Since this is not addressed in the PSP rulebook, crowd participation will be penalized the same as an eliminated player talking.
- The open division can have one D1 or Pro player, and all others can be D2 or lower.
- Open will be using 12.5 bps rather than 10.5 bps.
- We do not use the bracketed game format, but rather the typical round-robin format with each team getting 6-8 prelim games.
- PSP no longer uses a point system for it's 5-man division. We will be using the following points breakdown:
10 pts per elimination 5 pts per live player 10 pts for flag pull 15 pts for flag hang - Games are 5 minutes long.
- Games will begin with 3-2-1 10 seconds.
All other rules are as specified in the PSP rulebooks.
